I first saw Leslie, with skepticism, at the suggestion of a friend. Four weeks after having total knee replacement surgery I was in a lot of pain and was walking with only a little bend in my knee. The relief from pain was almost instantaneous when Leslie began "working" on my knee. She also concentrated on my hip which had been unbearably painful. When I left Leslie an hour later, I walked without difficulty and my pain was very diminished in both my hip & knee. I look forward to my sessions with Leslie.

Leslie provided Reiki treatments for my Mother, initially when Mom was 92 years old. Mom had moved from NJ to live with me in VA. She had lived on the same farm since 1944 when she married my dad. Mom had her left leg amputated (vascular issues/not diabetes) the February prior to moving in with me. Mom was physically, mentally, and emotionally depleted. Even though we provided the best environment we could for Mom - loving home and family, happy to have her with us, nutritional foods, vitamins, physical therapy, mental stimulation, etc., there just was something we couldn't reach. The Reiki treatments seemed to reach Mom on a very deep level - mentally, physically and emotionally. It was like someone had turned the electricity or energy on in her life again - she seemed to get brighter after each treatment and the brightness seemed to increase daily following the treatment. Her personality came back over time - she no longer was a little lump of a person not caring what happened. I learned from Leslie that Mom was carrying a lot of fear - which the Reiki treatments were able to adjust positively. I certainly could understand the fact that Mom had fear - she had been through the horrible experience of losing her left leg, then she had to move from the home she had known for 64 years, and her memory was failing her during this period to the point that sometimes she didn't know I was her daughter. I also noticed - because I sat in the room while Mom was having a Reiki session - that the session also helped me. I have always been a working professional and care giving was really stretching my comfort zone. I felt so at peace and calm after each session - and life as a caregiver just seemed to be less stressful.
